The Friends of the Long Hill Township Public Library is a group of volunteers who support the library by volunteering their time, sponsoring programs for children and adults, and providing financial support for library services.

Children's events sponsored by the Friends include:
- the summer reading program kick-off party,
- Valentine's Day poetry contest,
- and a craft table at the Community Center's children's holiday party.
Family events sponsored by the Friends include:
- Family Puzzle night,
- Meet the Author gatherings,
- Day and evening Knitting Circle,
- Internet Security for Parents seminar.
- We are actively looking for program ideas for the upcoming year and we welcome your suggestions.
